Nic Webb studied painting at Brighton University, graduating in 1994. He has since worked as an artist and maker with a focus on wood and clay.
'Using a combination of traditional skills and less conventional, experimental processes, my current work explores the values and narratives of contemporary craft. I aim to create work that clearly communicates the relevance and beauty of handmade objects and the importance of our relationship with the materials of the natural world.'
His work is shown internationally, he tutors and gives talks on elemental making and lives and works in East Sussex, UK.
